Random Thoughts This Morning - October 13th

~ If you don’t believe in resurrection of the dead, look at any office at closing time. (Robert Townsend)

~I taught my child the value of the dollar. This week he wants his allowance in rubls.  (That can happen)

~“I am not afraid of storms for I am learning to sail my own ship.” - Louisa May Alcott

~Mount Lushan, in Jiangxi, is one of the spiritual centres of Chinese civilization. Buddhist and Taoist temples, along with landmarks of Confucianism, where the most eminent masters taughts, blend into the strikingly beautiful landscape which has inspired countless artists who developed the aesthetic approach to nature found in Chinese culture.

~In the wake of the Ming and Qing dynasties, Muslims, Protestants and Catholics also built mosques or churches in Lushan. Over its 1,600 years of development, Lushan has become a rare place where five religions co-exist side by side on one mountain.
