The United States has the 3rd highest murder rate of all the Nations on Earth. But if you remove just 5 cities from that statistic: Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Washington DC and New Orleans, by the way, the 5 U.S. Cities with the toughest Gun Control Laws of all U.S. Cities, the entire U.S. stats shift.
With just these 5 cities removed from the overall U.S. counts of murders, the United States has the 4th lowest overall murder rate of all the nations in the entire world.
However, it is politically incorrect to really examine what makes those 5 U.S. cities different from the other U.S. cities and for that matter, the other cities on Earth. A wealthy elite in the U.S. makes those 5 cities a virtual hell on earth with drugs and crime including murder, rampant in the streets.
This serves to supply the mainly private U.S. prison industrial complex which is now holding over 2 million African Americans, kidnapped mainly from those same five cities and who now make up one quarter (1/4) of all prisoners on Earth. The number-one crime for which these mainly Black men are being "punished," is not for a crime of violence or even murder but, "Simple Possession Of Marijuana."
